这所男女同校的公寓坐落在一个缓坡上，为位于安卡拉西部的比尔肯大学主校区提供急需的学生住房。这个狭窄的项目场地与另一座较老的学生公寓相邻，带领设计团队将项目以L形进行布局，在两座建筑之间创建了一个庭院。新建筑的两翼较长，与现有的宿舍相邻，允许充足的阳光到达庭院。
Sitedalongagentleslope,thisco-educationalresidenceprovidesmuch-neededstudenthousingforBilkentUniversity’smaincampusinwesternAnkara.Theconstrictedprojectsite,adjacenttoanother,olderstudentresidencebuilding,ledthedesignteamtodistributetheprograminanL-shapedconfigurationtocreateacourtyardbetweenthetwostructures.Thelongerofthenewbuilding’stwowingsisadjacentto,andasfaraspossiblefrom,theexistingdormitory,allowingamplesunlighttoreachthecourtyard.该建筑深受被动房屋标准的启发，采用了充分的隔热、热桥缓解、加强的气密性措施、三层玻璃和能量回收通风。
每个立面的设计都是为了优化其特定的太阳能朝向。朝东和朝西立面上近一米的深度提供室内遮阳，外部遮阳设备保护朝南的幕墙。所有空间都依赖自然通风和被动冷却。
ThebuildingisdeeplyinspiredbythePassiveHouseStandard,utilizingampleinsulation,thermalbridgemitigation,enhancedairtightnessmeasures,tripleglazing,andenergyrecoveryventilation.Eachfacadeisdesignedtooptimizeitsspecificsolarorientation.Anearlyonemeterdepthontheeast-andwest-facingfa?adesprovidesinteriorshading,andexternalshadingdevicesprotectasouth-facingcurtainwall.Allspacesrelyonnaturalventilationandpassivecooling.切分的立面模式避免了典型的制度化的网格美学，并容纳了比学生宿舍更宽的房间模块。根据当地的气候和土耳其石灰华和玄武岩的包裹，学生公寓在物理和美学上都与环境和谐。
